The greatest band that never was. Imagine if the Beach Boys shopped at Forever 21. Of their time but that was time better than now. It annoys that a sort of Panglossian attitude is orthodoxy - some times are better than others and nostalgia is not always ruinous or unfounded.

Apologies. I shall endeavour to make post to the standard of 'catholicism is autism' and 'do you guys like Drain Gang?'.
Everybody thinks the point in which they were teenagers/early 20s was "the best time". You might convince me if you were a 45 year old or a 17 year old making this post, but it seems like you're just shilling your friend's old band from college. Thanks for dropping your pointless Tweet/blogpost here though.
It's a weird form of online narcissism this, posting random things of deep personal attachment without any care if others will respond, or without giving any explanation as to why this music is superior or even good in any way besides some of your usual word salad.

You could have written why you like their music and why it's so good instead of doing this coy shit where you want people to ask about it but don't explicitly write it out. Just tell us about this band! Explain why the music is like a millennial Beach Boys. Let the musicians shine in their own context instead of hooking them into your stupid autism imageboard ego-posting. You didn't even bother posting one Youtube link or one piece of information about the band besides their name and a 200x300 pixel photograph. In fact it seems like you hardly care about their music at all except to use as a tool for bothering the other users on this site about how erudite you are and how esoteric your tastes are. By the way, I looked the band up in a Youtube video, and I found it mildly intriguing (my first association was with Nordic-style indie or freak folk) but honestly your irritating posting style has neutered what potential interest I had.
