>>9047 i used to think this too but one day bladee simply clicked and never unclicked. the zoomers never had a chance so you may as well like what you like

>>9047 Yung Lean is as much (more, really) of an acquired taste as Bladee. You just didn't listen to Bladee in high school and thus have no interest in him. Many such washed uncs.
Ecco2k and Yung Lean unironically have made decent/good music. The rest is just memeshit propagated by annoying zoomers.

You don't have to love it, but it doesn't hurt to try it. On the other hand, no amount of trying has ever made me think reading a James Patterson novel is anything except poor taste. >>9048 in his defense i fucked w lean and ecco2k in high school, but it took being a college boy for bladee to become actually my favorite. but what you say about high school being somewhat of a "taste corridor" isn't wrong.

Is there a moral imperative to listen to "cool music"? Is a Bladee listener objectively more virtuous than, say, a They Might Be Giants fan? What about an xxffcyuvcui listener? Keys to the Astral Gates? Where does a true-normie stand in relation to these things? I have long held an intuition that these preferences are not morally neutral, that listening to bad music, reading bad books, watching bad movies, represents a kind of furtive WASTE. But it's all subjective so idk. Maybe I'm just tripping.

>>9055 What good taste indicates (curiosity, discernment, drive) can be marks of merit - the taste itself is incidental.
