Look at that photo and tell me it looks more edible than the plate it's on
The fucks wrong with beans on toast. Its a hearty meal. If your American you need to get "British style" beans if you can find them cos apparently your baked beans are sweeter. Make sure you get a nice slice of bread and not some white sugary foam pretending to be bread.
good, idk why you ever ate that
If I ran out of butter I would sooner put mayo on toast than beans. I did it this weekend before I had a chance to get to Costco.

britfags like to cope by saying it’s the type of beans and bread you use, but that’s just not true. if you want actual good british cuisine then you’re best off finding a good bakery that sells eel pies.
For me, it's steak and kidney.

I want to say it's the sweetness that's the issue... but rellenitos de plátano are really good and that's legumes, carbs, and sugar throughout.
It's not a big deal, lots of cultures have some variation of legumes + carb. Roti with lentils, frijoles with tortilla, ful madamas with rice, and so on...
I'll eat it for you
bro, theres fuck all wrong with beans on toast.
Beans on toast is fucking great, I don't know what your problem is dude. Even better with a smear of Marmite on the toast.

My understanding is that baked beans in the UK are not sweet like in the US
