The public square near my house was having a pretty bad hobo problem. People online were talking about it, and I was really bumming me out. HOWMEVER I was taking my hotgirl walk through there earlier and saw that the hobos had been pushed off to a little corner, and the place was absolutely crowded with rich-looking homosexuals. The sight caused me to conceptualize a conceptualization. I think neighborhoods are like Pokémon battles. It goes like this: >Hobos frighten rightoids (this is inarguable. The barest whiff of marijuana smoke has my chud friends wide-eyed and clutching for their wallets) >Homos frighten hobos >Rightoids frighten homos A lot of hay has been made over the years about artists gentrifying neighborhoods, but imhotepqbhfamalamadingdong it's actually driven by upwardly mobile power-bottoms who know that no bodily harm can equal the twisted stuff they do to their own assholes. And unlike artists, they actually have money.

I don't know what is worse: ignoring the problem near your house or turn it into entertainment on the Internet.
I mean I get it, everyone does it (the ignoring, which at some point, somehow, allows the entertaining), but it's insane.

Idk, the density of homos in public spaces goes WAY down when there are more families and adult men in polo shirts around

Who's entertaining or ignoring anything? I go sit in the square and take up space the hobos would otherwise occupy every couple of days.
>taking/posting pictures of random people
>to shit-talk them online
>a bunch of bums no less
You're a loser. As shitty as they are, how much of a bottom-feeder do you have to be to snap a photo of a bunch of guys who sleep and eat on the fucking sidewalk just so you can quip about them anonymously on a Reddit-lite imageboard?

Not dawksing myself any further, if you wanna believe I'm an elderly ghoul who somehow found out about an obscure /lit/ splinter board go right ahead. It's a more charming reality anyway.

You fuckers are really exhausting. Every thread here is just hostility and speculating on the OP and never really discussing anything. If you don't all get your act together, I give it 6 months before discord cabals rip this place apart in a lesser echo of the sharty.
It looks like it was taken from the inside of a public transportation bus. The downwardly mobile ex-proletariat of the US do have good reason to further document what is happening around them, and do not have to play to the fake game of 'being respectful' that you yourself surely do not believe in.
OP jumped to inform us about this 'elderly ghoul', tries to steer the conversation into the binary: he's either an old lady or just some average joe reading the local news. Maybe he doesn't want to dox himself because he got it from a friend or that 'elderly ghoul' is his great-aunt or some shit.
'my hot girl walk' is such a slimy and half-hearted larp. If the mods were anything decent they'd nip this group of individuals in the bud.

The Pokemon joke isn't the problem. It's that you thought taking/posting a photo of a bunch of suffering strangers was somehow going to make your joke hit harder. Offering up a bullshit explanation only makes it worse.
>6224
You're right, I should have contemplated the sentence "neighborhoods are like Pokemon battles" much more solemnly.

Willing to bet money that those were gypsies, not homeless people.
We don't have huge homelessness issue where I live down in Eastern/Central Europe/Butthurt Belt. Sure you can see them around now and again begging and dumpster diving, but it's not super common.
Couple years ago I finished uni and decided to move out of big city. I had someone come over with a car to haul me and my shit off to my hometown. I rented a room for 5 years straight and it did accrue some junk that I was not intending to keep. Old armchair that was very worn down, cheap deteriorated air humidifier, bunch of cooking ware that was no longer really usable and such. I had no better idea than to simply put this stuff next to garbage... kiosk? Whatever you call it, and whatever happens to it next is no longer my business. And I started doing that around 8 am about once every 20 minutes or so.
I was extremely surprised that whenever I went out with next portion of junk, the previous one was already gone. There wasn't really anyone lurking around in the line of sight, but virtually everything I carried out would almost immediately disappear.
This is not very interesting or relevant to the thread anecdote, but it was about the only time I ever thought "Homelessness is kind of neat, actually".
