I'd say not completely, you're at least not scrolling instagram reels or tiktoks. However,I'd recommend that you spend time with your partner when you're with them rather than being on your phone. It's just good manners,personally.

There's no good word in English for a serious, long-term nonmarried relationship so gays coined one (out of duress partly) and the straights stole it from them. Swedish has sambo but I guess it's too esoteric so "partner" remains.
