The deer in my town have begun to take over the place. Every day I see them walking in the middle of the neighborhood in packs and nothing frightens them anymore. Not cars, not noise, not me. They just stare and mosey along. My street has recently adopted a mother and two fauns. Which is idyllic and all, but they keep eating my tomatoes. At least they're also conscientious about crossing the roads quickly as not to hold up traffic.
The trafalgar square pidgeonification of megafauna. fascinating.
Nobody hunts anymore
This is just the start of the Thousand Deer Reich.
