I tell the stranger with my face,this horrifying,blank face that I don't run linux on that laptop,because It's my work laptop for my job. I do tell him about the exact model of the thinkpad,however. It was made in the 90s,a slimmer model of the previous bulkier lines. They cut the size down. They cut it down. I cut his head down.
I look into an empty mirror and strangle it whole. The life escaping his eyes as he is consumed by shock. Or perhaps it's my own reflection within his eyes that I see in that empty mirror.
I leave the apartment and open the door. I'm in the furry meet up. Nobody notices that I'm covered in blood,nor not in a fursuit. I see the exact shattered mirror of a man,walking up to me again,without a single wound on his body.
