Finally got booted off of old reddit and redirected to the login screen. I knew it was coming but man, what an end to 15 years of usage.
Scratch that, it only redirects me on a US IP. Americucks absolutely blown the fuck out lmao
On a Euro IP I get the redirect on /new for subreddits. It's coming eventually anyway. Bah

There's a reddit viewer called Redlib (github.com/redlib-org/redlib) which is meant to work like Nitter does for Twitter, but I've never tried to use it.
New Reddit is very poorly designed.

Never used this, but unless Chance is a proxy for Reddit somehow I doubt it'll work properly in regions where Old Reddit is blocked. I bet (again, I've not looked at it) that it works by interpreting the HTML of websites, but New Reddit doesn't use proper HTML, but some execrable Javashit PWA.

Thanks for the recs. I am a desktop user though. For now I've avoided getting the redirect by using a European IP (residential, haven't done any testing with VPNs). I don't know why reddit would bother halfway rolling out this change if their stated reason about combating spam and bots were the case, as Eastern Europe has no shortage of that sort of activity, but whatever.

it's an imageboard browser and it supports reddit and doesn't have ads. you can only view stuff there's no way to log in but it's better than going on reddit's official app.
