I'm 5'6 now was always the shortest person as a kid at school but I've never cared really. Then you go on reddit on R/short and all the post are like "Im two inches shorter then average should I just kill myself?"

this is a stupid thread, but cultural perceptions of height are actually interesting. it's become a huge doom and gloom charade, and obviously height matters to a lot of people, but the stakes have gotten strangely heightened. ok, midgets don't bag hoes like 6'3 Chad, but 5'2 Juan isn't a borderline spree shooter over it, he's still sipping cervezas and tequilas at the club, chatting up chicas, and probably has a couple baby mamas. what's going on?
